Remote Court Hearings and Virtual Advocacy 2.0*
Presented by: Beth Assell and Nikki Kelly
Post-pandemic Minnesota is shaping up to be a hybrid of pre- and mid-pandemic practices. Minnesota courts and advocacy are likely to continue using virtual options as a part of this “new normal”. The presenters, a Standpoint Attorney/Advocate team, will present the recommended practices for accessing and participating in remote hearings, tips for providing advocacy via digital platforms, and discuss opportunities and emerging issues presented by virtual technology. The goal of the webinar is to help professionals and the victim-survivors that they are assisting to feel comfortable in the virtual environment. *This presentation is an update to a previous webinar that is currently available on Standpoint’s YouTube page
