"A ruling is pending from the Minnesota Supreme Court after both sides made their arguments in April. Alexander said they've been waiting years for a case to make its way up to the Supreme Court to provide clarity on the law." Standpoint Fights to Protect Privileged Communications at the Minnesota Supreme Court
Standpoint will appeal to protect privileged communications and keep a sexual assault organization’s victim records from being disclosed in court. This is a critical opportunity to clarify the law protecting victims’ privileged communications, thereby preserving the sexual assault advocate and victim relationship.
