Advocates are invited to our March Webinar: Legal Protections for Domestic and Sexual Violence Survivors Facing Eviction, Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm.

Description: In this webinar, Standpoint’s Housing Team will provide an overview of state and federal protections for tenants who are victim/survivors of domestic or sexual violence. This webinar will focus on how to use these protections when the victim/survivor is facing eviction as a result of the violence that was committed against them. Topics include early lease termination due to fear of violence, overview of Minnesota’s eviction process, how to assert legal protections when an eviction has been filed, and the new HUD resources for advancing housing protections for victim/survivors.
